If the venue has a counter, do a build-your-own nachos bar; it&#8217;s the one thing eight-year-olds and their parents both queue for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Safety, in one paragraph<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One adult in the water for every six children under ten, and one adult on the deck watching only the pool. Count heads every time the group leaves the water. Put the party&#8217;s first-aid kit and the venue&#8217;s emergency number in the same visible spot.
